Meanwhile, Yaw Siki was one of Ghana’s thriving musicians after his release of Wo pe dodo, but his career was brought to an abrupt end.

Siki was involved in a near-fatal accident that got him bed-ridden for over six months.

The accident happened on the Accra-Tema Motorway when he was said to be returning from the club with some friends.

After his recovery, Siki said he had given his whole life to Christ and would never sing secular music anymore. He started preaching in moving buses and at the market, and lorry stations.
