Ghanaian media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, has revealed that her twin sons, John Irving and James Ian Geiling Heerdegen, have been admitted into the University of Ghana, Legon.
She made an exciting post on social media with photos of the boys to celebrate their achievement.
Afia was also thankful to God for the breakthrough, especially after it was speculated that her sons performed poorly in the 2020 WASSCE.
She thus wrote in part: “Thank you (God) for mocking my mockers.”
Many people have reacted to the post with congratulatory messages to the boys.
Wisdom and Blessing thanked God for the lives of Afia Schwar’s children:
Santy came through with the courses the boys would be reading. We cannot verify that, though:
According to his post, James would be reading Bachelor of Science in Administration as a distant education student, while John pursues Bachelor of Fine Arts, at the main campus.
Solomon also rejoiced with Afia Schwar:
Meanwhile, Afia Schwar had earlier caused confusion with her boys' WASSCE results when they were released somewhere in October.
In one breath, Afia claimed the boys had aggregate C4 as their lowest grade, and in another breath, she says C3.
Her inconsistency raised eyebrows making people not believe her and call her a liar, and the most interesting thing is the C3 grade she had earlier claimed is a non-existent grade in WASSCE.
She finally gave in to the incessant calls by some social media users to show the grades after ignoring the calls many times.
Afia Schwar indicated that her sons had passed with flying colours only for her to contradict herself in that manner.
