Former Ghana President, Jerry John Rawlings has finally gone home after days of mourning.
On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Rawlings was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Accra.
The tough-talking former leader left behind a wife and four children.

A day after his burial, an old photo of him and his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings has popped up online.
In the photo sighted by YEN.com.gh, the late Rawlings and Nana Konadu in their 40s were having a quality time.
From the photo, the two posed for the camera as Nana Konadu smiled while Rawlings held his chin.
The photo has broken the hearts of many social media users.

Meanwhile, Saying goodbyes to loved ones is one of the hardest things to do, especially when you share a very close bond with the departing relative.
The second daughter of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, Princess Amina Agyemang Rawlings could not hold back her tears as she read the tribute on behalf of her mother.
The words in the tribute she read, forced tears to roll down her face.
In a bid to console her, Member of Parliament for the Klorley Klottey constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings joined her on the dais to enable her complete the reading of the tribute.
She also mentioned in the tribute how Rawlings was a supportive husband with regards to raising them.
Former president Rawlings passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, after a short illness at the Korle Bu teaching hospital.
