Dressed in black and white striped jumpsuits (shorts type), the bride and her maids, also believed to be police ladies, wore police hats. While the bride put on a peaked cap, the maids wore berets.

A moment into the video, the bride and her ladies went into a singing mode ('jama' session) dishing out some of the favourite 'jama' songs.

But it turns out the use of the berets and peaked cap (official apparel) is against the police service's code of conduct.

In a message sighted by YEN.com.gh, the Director-General of the Police Service has ordered the ladies to undergo a refresher course for eight weeks at the Pwalugu Training School.

By the wireless message, the commanders of the affected ladies were being informed to release them.

The ladies listed are Diana Kumi, Lydia Adu, Agnes Kyere, Winifred Aboagyewaa, and Barbara Botchwey.
