The mother of sensational Kumerican rapper Yaw Tog has opened up about her relationship with her son since his rise as a music star.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the Sore rapper' mother who is now known as Mama Tog disclosed that their relationship has changed.
Mama Tog explained that she used to discipline her son in the best way possible, but she cannot do the same now that he is a star.
According to the rapper's mother, she feels shy of her son after his stardom and now tries to correct him in the form of humble suggestions than forcing him to do something.
"Now, I cannot discipline him anymore...I'm a bit shy of him, so I cannot criticise him. Now, when I criticise him, I do it humbly," she said.
Recounting a story of how she used to handle her son, the mother indicated that she used to threaten to 'curse' Tog with an egg as she tried to stop him from going to places she did not want him to.
But unbeknown to Tog who was younger at the time and followed her back home fearing a curse, the egg was boiled and she ate it immediately they came home.
"When he was a little kid, I used to threaten that I would curse him with boiled eggs. Sometimes, when he goes out to play at places I do not like, I chase him with boiled eggs and I eat it after getting home," she said.
Yaw Tog's mother was speaking in an interview during the rapper's launch of his Time EP over the weekend where she stole the show with her little son.
Yaw Tog's EP comes after a remix of his Sore song made an impressive showing by garnering over one million views YouTube within four days of its release.
