One of the biggest football clubs in Spain and the world, Real Madrid, have surprise President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with a signed customised jersey.

Officials of the illustrious club took the opportunity of President Akufo-Addo's visit to Spain to give him a memorable birthday gift.

The customised jersey which had the number 77 and name Nana Addo, was signed by top players and officials of the multiple-times Champions League winning football club.

The presentation was done by top executives of the club who visited the Ghanaian leader so as to put a smile on his face due to the fact that he was miles away from his home country.

Photos sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook page of the president showed him receiving the jersey and showing it off.

Speaking about the president's birthday, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that First Lady Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, borrowed the words of singer Gyakie to wish her husband well on his birthday.

The first lady took to her Facebook page and shared a photo of Ghana's president who was seen beaming with smiles.

After wishing the president well on his big day, Rebecca Akufo-Addo added, "My mind dey for you" culled from Gyakie's hit song, Forever.

Moving away from birthdays to death, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that one of the founding members of Ghana Music Awards, Foussena Djagba, has sadly passed away today, March 29, 2021.

The news was made public on the Twitter handle of Ghana Music Awards as many followers of the page have reacted to the sad death.

After posting a number of fond photos of Foussena Djagba, Ghana Music Awards captioned the post: "We are saddened by the passing of our dearest friend; madam Foussena Djagba, CEO of Fouss promotions and a founding member of the Ghana Music Awards. Rest In Peace Fou$$."
