Yvonne Orji, a Nigerian-American actress wore a dress by Ghanaian designer, Mimi Plange to the 2021 MTV Movie & Television Awards.
The colourful dress was on display at the Hollywood Palladium, California in the United States of America where the event was held.
A lot of celebrities were wowed by the dress and left comments online sharing how they feel about the design by Plange.
"This dress is lovely Yvonne," commented popular American actress Aisha Hinds.
"Mimi!!!!!!!!!This is beautiful!!!!!" said South African actress, Sthandiwe Kgoroge.
Award-winning American actor and artiste, Leslie Odom Jr also wrote: "As good as it gets"
Orji is not Plange's first celebrity client. Others are Michelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States of America, Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, Janelle Monae, and Rihanna.
Plange and her work have also been featured in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, and Ebony Magazine.
In other news, the #FixTheCountry campaign has received another high-profile boost in the person of Kwame Sefa-Kayi, host of 'Kokroko' on Peace FM.
Ghanaians have besieged President Nana Akufo-Addo and his government to fix the many problems in the country through the campaign. The campaign which started on Twitter weeks ago has gathered momentum outside social media with many putting pressure on the government to solve problems ranging from the economy, power, roads, to health.
"Who will say they are not for fix it? Like seriously? We all want it fixed. I don't think anyone in their right frame of mind will say we don't have issues in Ghana," said Kayi in response to a question by a listener on his show.
"We have issues, so we need to fix those issues, but I am sure we will differ on approach but we need to fix those issues."
