The Lonely hitmaker recently visited Africa and even met Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and his wife.
He arrived in the landlocked country on April 2 and was received by one of the president's advisors and Ugandan artiste Eddy Kenzo.
The star seemed to have successfully achieved his mission if a tweet by Museveni was anything to go by.
Taking to his official Twitter account on Monday, May 17, Museveni shared a photo of an investment delegation that included Akon and his wife Rozina Negusei and other concerned parties.
The singer, who has a keen interest in Africa, held talks with President Museveni on tourism, energy, and other infrastructure development areas.
