GES opens nationwide vacancies for employment of teachers

The Ministry of Education has given the Ghana Education Service the green light to advertise vacancies for teachers for both second-cycle and basic schools across the country.

President of Conference of the National Regional Directors of Education (CONFRED), Alhaji Mohammed Haroon made the announcement known to heads of institutions of Senior High Schools as he expressed that government has asked head teachers to declare vacancies ahead of recruitment.

The massive vacancies is expected to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country as majority of public sector workers are documented to be within the Education sector.
