Prominent Ghanaian content creator Frimpong Osanju Elvis, popularly known as Osanju, reportedly died on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Rumours of his demise emerged on social media earlier in the morning, as many of his close friends and colleagues, including TikToker Oheneba Jude, eulogised him.
According to some reports, the content creator, who had over 1.1 million followers on TikTok, was rushed to Komfo Hospital for treatment after complaining about some headaches on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
The content creator passed away, five months after his mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, was laid to rest at a funeral service attended by many prominent personalities, including Nana Ama McBrown.

Following his demise, Osanju's last social media post has gone viral and gained traction among netizens, who have been affected by the unfortunate news.
Osanju's last social media post before death
In a video Osanju shared on his official TikTok page on Sunday, August 31, 2025, the content creator fumed as he reacted to his favourite football club, Barcelona FC's disappointing 1-1 draw to Rayo Vallecano.
The content creator complained about the abysmally poor performance of the players, especially England International Marcus Rashford, in their La Liga game.
Before his reaction to the result, Osanju had previously shared footage of himself with some family and friends, where he nervously watched the football match on a TV inside his plush living room.

Osanju's friend shares details about his demise

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, a reported close friend of Osanju shared details about the content creator's final moments.

She said she had met him three days before his death and held his hand, but he complained that his hand was feeling heavy and painful.
Osanju reportedly said that it was due to his blood clotting because he did not have his medicine available. The friend added that on Sunday, she and her brother invited Osanju to church, but he refused to go.
She said they also attempted to pray for him after her brother saw a terrifying vision about his future, but he turned it down and said he does not believe in such prophecies.
The close friend added that she received a call from Osanju’s companion that he had been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in an ambulance, but unfortunately, passed away.

Osanju's health issues emerge after his demise
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a video of Osanju opening up about his health challenges resurfaced on social media after his demise.

Osanju also recounted how his venture into content creation helped him deal with his health challenges.
