Ghanaian long and triple jumper, Deborah Acquah, has set a new indoor triple jump national record with a 13.77m jump at the Charlie Thomas Invitational meet in College Station, Texas.

According to a news report gathered by Citisportsonline.com, the 23-year-old lady who was born in 1996 broke the standing record of one Nadia Eke which was set on January 14, 2017.

Reports indicate that the groundbreaking feat has been chalked just 17 days after the African Games silver medallist in the long jump broke the indoor national record in the long jump with a 6.57m mark at the Ted Nelson Invitational in Texas.

Given the massive stretch Deborah Acquah just added to the previous records, it can be thought that nobody would be able to take down the record in a long time.
