Controversial Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, widely known as Mzbel has jumped to the defense of female dancehall artiste, Ebony over criticisms of her ‘nudity’ on stage.
According to Mynews.com report, Mzbel is reported to have said criticisms being hauled at Ebony by some Ghanaians doesn’t make sense.
To her Ebony must be left to do what pleases her since branding is part of her career as a recording artiste.
“It does not make sense for any public figure to be criticized for his or her looks on stage”, Mzbel was quoted in the report.
Mzbel was in the news recently for expressing regrets for going ‘nude’ with her brand in the past.
The outspoken musician was also reported to have said, she is now working hard to better and re-position her brand in the eyes of the public.
However, she insists Ebony has choices to make in terms of her stage costume, therefore must be left alone.
Ebony Reigns has been widely condemned by many Ghanaians with her style of dressing in music videos as well as her stage performances.
Many entertainment pundits have argued that the young artiste is a 'bad influence' to society as well as young Ghanaian ladies who see her as a role model.
But it doesn’t look like the artiste is ready to listen to her critics anytime soon.
