- His comments were in relation to a disruption of a meeting by the Delta Force group

The Old Tafo constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Moses Donkor, has stated that members of the Delta Force group are ungrateful.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, he said that claims that nothing has been done for the constituency by the Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Anthony Osei Akoto, are false.

In a press statement released with respect to a recent disruption of a meeting with the MP, he said that “I, the chairman and the entire constituency and polling station executives, would like to condemn in no certain terms the unwarranted and reckless act at a general meeting by this group who tag themselves as Delta Force in the constituency.”

According to him, Dr. Akoto has done a lot and therefore needs to be commended for his efforts.

He explained that the MP is behind the engagement of over 350 residents of the constituency by the National Builders Corps (NABCO) programme.

He went on to say that 137 were also engaged by the Youth In Police and 150 others were taken up by the Youth In Afforestation project.

Donkor further revealed that three mechanized boreholes have been constructed for the Senior High Schools (SHSs) in the community and the Old Tafo Central Mosque has also been renovated.

In the opinion of the constituency executives, there was no need for people to complain about inadequate developmental projects in the constituency.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that members of the Delta Force group disrupted a meeting at which Dr. Akoto was present.

He was however whisked away before he could have been harmed by the group.
