Kumawood actor Sylvester Agyapong, popularly known as Sly, says he doesn’t not believe Jesus Christ came to die for everyone in the world.
The actor believes many people in Ghana have allowed themselves to believe things that are not true when it comes to religion.
Speaking to Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show, he said Christ did not come to die for Ghanaians as many people have been made to believe.
According to him, the Bible states that Jesus came for only the Israelites and no other race or group of people.
Sly said many Ghanaian are fond of going contrary to the teachings of the Bible but tend to claim that they are Christians.
The controversial actor explained that the Bible speaks against praying in public and helping the needy publicly but most Christians still do them.
He further stated that men of God like Duncan Williams, Mensah Otabil and others have all lost their way.
According to him, there is no reason why any educated person should visit any pastor requesting for the Bible to be explained to him or her.
He added that he has personally not been to church in the last four years, saying those who go to church are just wasting their time.
