Stating the motivation behind the new music, the young entertainer said she wanted to reprint her name in the hearts of Ghanaians as a multi-talented entertainer.

DJ Switch added that she wanted to entertain people so she would use all her God-given talent to do so in whatever way possible.

I want to entertain people, so I want to use all the talent God has given me to entertain people,” she said.

“I got the idea of pardonnez way back in my hometown, Dadieso, from my French teacher who is from Togo,” she added.

Reminiscing her former days at school in her village, the Talented Kidz season 8 winner said that during her days at the school, they (the pupils) usually begged the French teacher saying “ pardon moi us” but the teacher would correct them and say “padonnez” as plural.

Explaining why she used that as the title for her song, the 11-year-old entertainer noted that nobody climbed the success ladder without being pushed up by others and stepping on their toes.

Therefore, if such a thing happened, people should forgive themselves.

The young entertainer has been in the news recently following her impressive performance at the AU Summit which was held in Ethiopia recently.
