By The Fireside: Maame Dokono and other characters to relive old plays

- A Grace Omaboe-led cast would soon reenact one of the episodes of the By The Fireside which was a popular television show some years ago.

- The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2019 and it would be held at the International Trade Fair Centre.

- Participants would have the opportunity to interact with the cast when the event kicks off.

Veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe, would once again team up with the cast of the local television show, By The Fireside, to thrill their audience with some scenes from the show.

On Saturday, August 31, 2019, Omaboe would be at the Bureau of Ghana Languages as part of the 17th Ghana International Book Fair.

Titled ‘Ananse sɛm Asi soo…!’, the show would be held at the International Trade Fair Centre to help explore languages in Ghana.

YEN.com.gh understands that there would be various activities such as riddle contests, dramatic readings, poetry and the performance of folk music.

3news.com reports that as part of the programme, there would be an enactment of old traditional games.

The event is designed to provide an opportunity for everyone present to discuss with the cast, some aspects of the show they enjoyed in times past.

In other news, the United States Embassy in Ghana has applauded the efforts of Jeffrey Appiagyei who is working hard to provide tools needed by Ghanaian farmers.

In a post on social media, the embassy noted that Appiagyei has resolved to change the face of agric in Ghana.

He has implemented measures to make it possible for local entrepreneurs to build agricultural equipment.
