Manasseh Awuni’s latest documentary reveals how PPA boss is selling gov't contracts

- The documentary showed Talent Discovery Limited (TDL), a company incorporated in June 2017 and owned by the PPA boss

Investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has revealed in his latest documentary how some NPP appointees connive to sell government contracts.

In his exposé, titled Contracts For Sale, the CEO of Public Procurement Authority (PPA), A.B. Adjei, was busted.

The investigations showed how a new company, Talent Discovery Limited (TDL), incorporated in June 2017 by the CEO of PPA has won majority of government contracts through restrictive tendering.

Mr. Adjei's company, after winning the government contracts, then proceeds to sell the contracts to other companies.

Manasseh in the exposé posed as a company looking to buy a contract. He then approached TDL using a fake company called K-Drah Enterprise.

TDL, whose General Manager is Thomas Amoah, was looking to sell a ¢22.3 million road contract to K-Drah Enterprise.

Interestingly, the contract was awarded to B-Molie Limited, a company Mr Amoah said was a sister company of TDL.

It was also found that TDL has had many contracts with the various Ministries, including the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Works and Housing, and four contracts with the Ministry of Special Development Initiatives.

Also, TDL has had contracts with the Ghana Water Company (GWCL), Ghana Cocoa Board (Cocobod), Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GHPHA).

All these contracts given to TDL were approved by the PPA, of which Adjenim Boateng Adjei (AB Adjei) is the CEO.
