In one of the scenes, the character Tara Coleman, played by Tracy Ifeachor, attended a Ghanaian funeral to meet a friend who was dancing 'adowa' at one of Ghanaian's coastal communities.
The two later moved to a bar and were seen drinking one of Ghana's most famous alcoholic beverages.
However, some Ghanaian movie critics are excited that the producers of Treadstone moved away from Hollywood and other locations to shoot in Ghana at some of the country's historic locations.
