Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju aka Tormund Giantsbane tests positive for coronavirus

- Giantsbane announced he had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday night

- According to the star who is currently in Norway, he and his family were on self-isolation

- He also asked his fans to take precaution and not fear

- The actor shared the news on his Instagram page a few hours after actor, Idris Elba, revealed he had also tested positive

Game of Thrones actor, Kristofer Hivju, alias Tormund Giantsbane is the latest celebrity to have tested positive for Coronavirus.

The star revealed that he tested positive for the virus on the night of Monday, March 16.

Posting on his Instagram account, the star said he and his family were isolating themselves after he tested positive of the virus.

He further stated that he only has mild symptoms of a cold and that he and his family were doing well.

"Greetings from Norway! Sorry to say that I, today, have tested positive for COVID19, Coronavirus. my family and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes. We are in good health. I only have mild symptoms of a cold," he wrote.

His revelation comes a few hours after actor, Idris Elba confirmed that he also had tested positive.

The actor tested positive for the now worrying infection on Monday, March 16, morning.

News about the actor's current health status was shared online by Idris himself on Twitter.

He revealed he had been isolated although he had not shown symptoms of the infection.

Idris urged his fans not to worry about him as he was not in bad shape and urged them to stay at home to avoid catching the virus.

He disclosed that he decided to go for the test after he discovered he had been in contact with someone who had also tested positive for Coronavirus.
