Nigerians hail honest man who returned N1.8m he found inside carton of noodles he bought (photo)

- Ogbonna went to a shop to buy a carton of noodles but realised the sum of N1.8m was in the carton
- The honest man returned the cash and got free cartons of noodles for the next six months

A media personality identified as @certifiedcamill has taken to Twitter to share the story of an honest Nigerian man called Mr Chidiebere Ogbonna.
Describing the man as his personality of the week, Camill said that the kind-hearted man bought a carton of noodles, and when he realised that a huge sum of money was in the carton, he returned the noodle box quickly to where he bought it from.
Camill revealed that the money in the noodle box was N1.8m.

The broadcaster said Ogbonna revealed that the reason he returned the money was that it wasn't his and he was also scared.
According to him, when he took it back to where he bought the carton of noodles from, the seller was really excited.
He noted that the seller said the money was the payment for some goods.
To reward his honesty and saving him from debt, the noodles' seller rewarded Ogbonna with free cartons of noodles for the next six months.

According to Camill who shared his story, people like Ogbonna are rare to find.
As expected, Nigerians took to his comment section to hail Ogbonna, noting that what he did was noble and rare.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that a woman celebrated an honest mechanic who returned N60k change after billing her N80k.
Facebook user, Mariam Ibrahim, left many people in awe after she celebrated her mechanic for his honesty. Sharing her experience, she narrated how she took her car for fixing after it developed a fault.
The mechanic then billed her N80,000 to fix the problem and she paid in full. When she returned to pick up the car, the mechanic, however, returned N60,000 change from the N80,000 she had initially given him for his services.
