Popular actor, Prince David Osei, has sent a word of caution to his friends in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following claims of threats and insults over the actor’s comments.

Prince David Osei took to his Instagram handle to indicate that due to the fact that we are living in a democratic country, he was free to air his views on political matters without fear or favour.

He noted that he is not going to tolerate any form of attack, insult, or threat coming from any quarter that did not agree with his views.

The actor indicated that he was open to decorous political banter but was not going to sit and watch people disrespect him for saying what he felt had to be said.

After making a post on Instagram, Prince David Osei captioned it:

To my brothers in the NDC who do not agree with me on my view on issues, it is alright not to agree, you at liberty not to agree or accept everything I say. However, if you attack me will defend myself with all I have, the past few days I have endured enough of your threats, insults and attacks. We live in a country where the law works‼️ So before you foolishly come to attack me, because you fighting for a man who don’t even know you exist all in the name of “party faithfuls” just so you know, I am equally not soft like that. I grew up the hard way in kokomlemle, tiptoe lane, nima and adabraka.

The actor then went on to claim he could be very rowdy if he wanted to but had been humbled by his popularity.

He added that he was going to defend himself in whatever way he deemed fit should he feel a threat coming too close to him.

Prince David Osei made headlines on social media after he granted an interview to Zionfelix in which he indicated that John Mahama’s candidature was an insult to Ghanaians.

Prince then indicated that his comments stemmed from the fact that, in his view, there were other people in the party that would have made a better choice.

The popular actor then said if the NDC had brought a candidate apart from Mahama, he would have gladly campaigned for the opposition party.

He added that Ghanaians should allow Akufo-Addo to rule for 4 more years and explained that the NPP-led government had put in place policies that would see the nation flourish.

Speaking about presidents, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghana-based Gambian actress, Princess Shyngle, has come out to boldly state her political ambitions and she is aiming for the highest office in Gambia.

Princess Shyngle, in a post fast gaining engagement on Instagram, stated she is going to be the president of Gambia soon.

By effect, the popular socialite was saying she was going to make history should her dream come true and see her as the first female president of the African nation.
