Parents of Morning Star School storm premises to protest payment of fees in full

- Scores of parents who have their wards at the Morning Star School have are protesting the demand of full term payment of fees

- According to them, they expect the school to be more sensitive and reduce the payment of the fees

Scores of parents who have their children registered as students of the Morning Star School have beseeched the school premises protesting the demand of full term payment of fees.

According to them, due to the COVID-19 which led to the closure of schools, their wards did not have access t the school to be taught.

Some of the angry parents were of the view that the demand by the school for the full payment of their ward's third term fees did not augur well with them as the tone of the school message was rather demanding.

They stormed the school premises to seek the schools view on why the school is demanding the full payment of fees

Speaking to Citi News, some of the parents lamented how the COVID-19 and its related issues has affected their income flow.

They however, expected the school authorities to be sensitive enough and adjust things since these are not normal times.

In other news, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has moved the examination centre from Bright Senior High School (SHS) in Kukurantumi to Ofori Panin Senior High School.

The action of the WAEC follows the recent attack on its officials at the school during the ongoing West African Secondary School Examination (WASSCE).

According to a Citi News report, final students of Bright SHS attacked the WAEC officials after allegedly being incited by their proprietor, Bright Amponsah.
