Hosts for the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards revealed

Information reaching YEN.com.gh has it that some four top media personalities would act as hosts for the 2020 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The music festival which is scheduled to run for the whole weekend from August 28 to 30, 2020 would be run in three phases.
According to the sources close to the organizers of the event, TV personality, Caleb Elolo Adjomah, popularly known as Giovanni Caleb and actress Sika Osei would host the first day of the event.

The second day of the awards is expected to be hosted by experienced broadcaster, Kofi Okyere Darko better known as KOD and on-screen goddess Berla Mundi.
This year's VGMA's is taking a whole different approach as the awards ceremony has been broken into two phases (Friday and Saturday).
The third day would see a huge concert being held in honour of the frontline workers in Ghana working hard to fight the novel COVID-19.
Among the many stars billed to perform on the nights are Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Adina, Celestine Donkor, Ras Kuku and many more.

Another interesting bit about this year's ceremony is the fact that it is a free event and tickets would not be sold.
The three-day festival is set to air on a number of TV stations in the country and also stream on selected social media platforms.
Speaking about musicians, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that multiple award-winning dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla better known as Stonebwoy, together with Ayisha Modi have given singer Fameye huge support on his new project.
The BHIM Nation duo, in their bid to support Fameye’s yet-to-be-released Greater Than Album, have pre-ordered a copy for $1,000 or the local equivalent of GHC5,775.

The huge boost was announced by Ayisha Modi popularly known on social media as She_Loves_Stonebwoy.
