11-year-old Naa Koshie Manyo-Plange wins 2021 Spelling Bee competition

Naa Koshie Manyo-Plange, a brilliant student of the Roman Ridge School in Accra, has won the 2021 edition of the Spelling Bee competition.

After intense 15 rounds of spelling, 11-year-old Manyo-Plange beat off fierce competition from her opponents, Susan Grace Azu and Gavriel Asamoah, to clinch the top position.

Susan Grace Azu of Anchelle International placed second, and Gavriel Asamoah of Springforth Community Schools emerged third.

Manyo-Plange beat Susan Grace Azu in the 10th round after being the only two contestants left in the competition, claiming first place with the word ''AMAXOPHOBIA''

Manyo-Plange wins GHC10,000, a fully installed decoder from DSTV Ghana, a year's supply of Indomie_Ghana, GHC500 worth fuel from Goil and Frankie’s Restaurant meals for a year for her prize as winner of the competition.

Susan Grace Azu of Anchelle International School in Takoradi and Gavierl Asamoah of Springforth Community Schools will receive prizes for emerging 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh previously reported that Reverend Obofour Antwi and wife Ciara Bofowaa Antwi have showered massive love on their daughter, Lawrensa Antwi, as she marks her birthday today, February 6.

Lawrensa Antwi turns seven-years today, and her parents have proven to be the best in the life of the lad.

The father of the beautiful girl, Rev Obofour, who is the founder and leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), went live on Instagram to express deep love for his 7-year-old daughter and to wish her a happy birthday.
