McBrown's dress she wore to Eddie Nartey's wife's one-week causes stir (video)

Celebrated actress Nana Ama McBrownis often praised for her style and rarely gets criticised for her fashion sense.

But the actress' choice of fashion for a funeral event she recently attended is dividing opinions on social media.

McBrown attended the one-week observance held for actor and director Eddie Nartey's late wife, Vida Nartey.

Appearing at the observance which was held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, McBrown was dressed in a black dress.

A video sighted by YEN.com.gh shows McBrown seated and chatting with Eddie Nartey at the ceremony.

From the video, one can observe that part of McBrown's dress is netlike (see-through) which reveals her arm, knees, and part of her thighs.

While McBrown looks generally decent in the outfit, some fans have criticised her saying the dress inappropriate for the occasion.

For the critics, McBrown had dressed too fashionable for an event which is supposed to be sorrowful.

faustina_papabi_1 thought the dress was not appropriate to console Eddie Nartey:

"You can't wear this to console him oo. Nana this one dierr is a NO."

mmv151215 agreed with the first observation saying McBrown had dressed like she was attending a fashion show:

Meanwhile, Nana Ama McBrown was not the only celebrity to support Eddie Nartey.
