The mother of two uplifts girls and women she comes across especially the trailblazers and pacesetters.

The author who also doubles as a filmmaker came across the story of a teenage filmmaker named Kalia Love Jones.

Michelle was in awe of how despite being so young, the 14-year-old is still able to inspire people with her raw talent.

“I want to share the story of a talented young filmmaker who recently inspired me. Kalia Love Jones is a 14-year-old from Los Angeles with a passion for storytelling,” former US President Barack Obama’s wife penned in an Instagram tribute.

The mother of two was blown away by how the youngster produced, wrote and directed her first animated film in 2020.

“It tells the story of a young girl aspiring to become an architect. Despite experiencing a tragic loss, she’s able to persevere and pursue her dreams,” Michelle added.

She gushed over how Kalia studied films and paid for the project by herself.

Still on Michelle, YEN.com.gh reported that the author stepped out looking all classy during Joe Biden’s inauguration.

Her outfit designed by an African American saw her trend on social media during the historic inauguration.

Social media users reacted with so much praise and admiration for her consistency in fashion.
