Kind woman narrates how she helped roasted plantain seller complete her house, many react

- A Nigerian woman has inspired social media users with the kind gesture she extended towards a woman who sells roasted plantain

- Oyinkansola Alabi took to her Twitter page to disclose that she saw the woman roasting plantain under the rain and was touched to help her

- According to the kindhearted woman, a friend of hers reached out to her to donate N250k

- The roasted plantain seller used the money to complete her house and moved her business there

A Nigerian woman identified as Oyinkansola Alabi has got people talking on social media for helping a woman who sells roasted plantain to complete her house.

According to Oyinkansola, she drove by the woman who was under the rain roasting the plantain, and she parked and asked her why she wasn't under a shade.

The woman responded that the plantain would get burnt if she was under the shade. Oyinkansola then gave her some cash and drove off.

Oyinkansola wrote:

"While at church. I had tears in my eyes. I couldn't imagine my mum roasting plantain in the rain. I kept pondering about it till I posted it on Facebook. A friend from the US reached out to donate to her. 48 hours after I drove back to her to hand her about 250k."

She said the woman burst into tears and said she had been praying that God should send her a helper.

According to Oyinkansola, the woman reached out to her staff a month later saying she was no longer under a shade, adding that she used the money to fix her uncompleted building and sells from there.

Tweeps were impressed with Oyinkansola's kind gesture and they flooded the comment section of her post with their thoughts.

In similar news, it is virtually hard to find anything that won't sell online, as different entrepreneurs and businesses seek to take advantage of the huge opportunities available on the net.

This, however, doesn't mean that all offer the best of services to their customers. A Young man has taken to social media to share what a food vendor delivered to him after he ordered roasted plantain.

Posting a shot of the roasted plantain, that had cut onion particles and a snail in it, @JeJaiye wrote:

"No be you wan chop online Boli.. na watin u dey find u go see."
