The maiden edition of the Entertainment Achievement Awards has been held to honour creatives and industry players for their contributions to the entertainment industry during the 2020 eligibility year.

Multiple award-winning actress and presenter, Nana Ama McBrown, was adjudged the Female Actor of the Year.

She beat off stiff competition from reputable film stars such as Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, and Naa Ashorkor who were in the same category.

Other creatives who distinguished themselves in their fields also received awards in various categories for their contributions to the entertainment industry.

Ghanaian-South African singer, Adina won Female Artiste of the Year while Stonebwoy was named Male Artiste of the Year.

The Entertainment Achievement Awards which was powered by Citi FM and Citi TV celebrates entertainers and entertainment industry players who have distinguished themselves in the practice of their art during the 2020 eligibility year.

The awards scheme covers areas such as sports, music, film, fashion, photography, media, comedy, among others.
