Sharing the video with her 147 000 followers on her Twitter handle, Benson confidently indicated that she is never scared riding on the bike.

''Most people ask me if I'm scared riding on my bike at night and the fact is never,'' she said.

She cited reasons saying, ''First because I’m confident in my capability to take care of myself, I’m not just a pretty face, and second because these guys on the side of the street protect me when I’m going home late at night.

''They are everywhere, and all it takes is for me to be myself. We have a conversation on the street and laugh and they see me on my way. They never ask for a thing.
