Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has severely criticised Akufo-Addo over the recent power outages plunging the whole country into dumsor.

She mocked Akufo-Addo over his election 2020 hashtag “4 more to do more”, when she wrote: “4 more for more dumsor.

Yvonne expressed her disappointment in the government for failing to fix what it criticised Mahama for when his government was hit by dumsor.

Her post has triggered massive reactions from Ghanaians with some who seem to be NPP supporters attacking her.

King scolded Yvonne Nelson for saying earlier that Mahama solved dumsor. He reasoned that if so, why should she say dumsor is back:

Yvonne Nelson is known to have led a dumsor vigil against former president Mahama in 2016.

She organised a strong protest against the former president during the time that dumsor plagued the country.

That led many people to discern her political colours that she was affiliated to the NPP.

However, Yvonne said she just wanted to be a voice for the voiceless for which reason she led the protest and not necessarily being NPP.

She also revealed her political ambition to serve as an ambassador to a “nice country” one day.

Yvonne later praised Mahama when he was no longer a president, and said he did well in bringing up massive infrastructural developments for Ghana.
