Producers of the hit web series, The Men’s Club, REDTV, are set to outdoor a new Ghanaian web series with support from United Bank of Africa, Ghana.
The all-new Ghanaian web series which premiers on REDTV’s Youtube channel on May 19, 2021, tells a tale of the rich and famous in society.
It features the likes of some Ghanaian greats in the movie industry including Van Vicker, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu, and some new talents making their debut in the movie industry.

Titled Public Figure, the 13-episode web series focuses on power play and sexual scandals that plague the rich and powerful in society.
Public Figure tells a tale of power, fame, politics, and lust.
The story is centered around the main protagonist, Wonder, who takes advantage of a workplace sexual harassment she suffered to exploit those involved.
REDTV is known for many hit web series like The Men’s Club and Assistant Madams which are all Nigerian series.

This is the first time Ghana is getting its share of such productions with support from UBA Ghana.
The new Ghanaian web series which is the first of many to come is the bank’s way of contributing to Ghana’s creative industry.
REDTV is an entertainment and lifestyle channel by UBA to support the creative industry across Africa.
Through the channel and its productions, many Africans, from actors to production crew have been offered gainful employment.
The entertainment channel also focuses on giving young talents the platform to hone and exhibit their skill set and talent.
Speaking about movies, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that award-winning Ghanaian artiste, Wendy Addo famed as Wendy Shay, has said that makers of a South African-produced Netflix movie have used her song without her consent.
The actress, in a video posted on her official Instagram page videoed some parts of the movie which had her song, All For You playing.
Kalybos and Nigerian star Williams Uchemba were seen in the cut where the Shay On You singer's song was being played.
