- The singer indicated that she just watched a movie that had her song in it but she was not aware of it

Award-winning Ghanaian artiste, Wendy Addo famed as Wendy Shay, has said that makers of a South African-produced Netflix movie have used her song without her consent.

The actress, in a video posted on her official Instagram page videoed some parts of the movie which had her song, All For You playing.

Kalybos and Nigerian star Williams Uchemba were seen in the cut where the Shay On You singer's song was being played.

Wendy Shay revealed that she had no idea that her song had been featured in the movie and took to social media to complain about what looked like a copyright infringement.

She went on to ask the makers of the movie to do the right thing or meet her in court to answer for their actions.

Wendy Shay's post on Instagram came with the caption: "So, I watched this movie last night on Netflix and my song, 'All for you' was featured without my consent or that of my management. Producers of the movie 'Slay', it is a crime to use someone's intellectual property without her consent. Kindly do the needful or I will see y'all in court."

Many fans of the singer took to the comment section to react to her concerns with some showing concern while others asked her to let the matter rest.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian actors, Bismark The Joke and Kalybos, have made Ghana proud by representing the whole nation with their talents in a South African Netflix movie titled Slay.

The duo played different roles in the movie which saw them acting alongside popular actors from Africa including Ramsey Nouah and now-popular Williams Uchemba.
