While most were all for the new name, some felt Diddy shared a bit too much information and that someone was sure to try and steal his identity. You can’t be sharing things like this on social media, which made some feel it might be fake.

@dollface04: “Ummmmm... I think you shoulda blurred your DL number Love.”
@bshp31: “The scammers are gonna have a field day with this info...”
@kristinchanelj: “I hope this ain't the real ID... Cuz half of Nigeria about to be Sean Love.”
@ryansharvey.thegreat: “I scrolled to the next photo I thought we was gonna get the back of the ID too ”

YEN.com.gh previously reported that American rapper Diddy left Mzansi social media users excited and impressed when a video of him jamming to Ke Star by Focalistic was shared online.

The footage showed the billionaire dancing, albeit a little strangely, to the South African Amapiano star’s track. The dancing was so out of rhythm that many thought that the song may have been dubbed into the video.

However, it turns out Diddy is just a terrible dancer. Either way, South Africans loved the fact that the international star took the time to appreciate our homegrown music.

It was also reported that it is indeed a proud moment for top American music executive Sean Combs, aka P Diddy, who has now joined millions of fans across the world to celebrate Burna Boy’s win at the recently concluded Grammy Awards ceremony.

The top music executive took to his verified page on Instagram with a post dedicated to the self-styled African Giant.
