Popular Ghanaian social media personality living in the United States, Twene Jonas, has shared a picture of himself in a friendly post with police in the US.

The single picture generated tens of thousands of reactions on Facebook possibly because of the recent news in relation to how officers in Ghana's National Security treated a journalist, Caleb Kudah harshly.

In the caption of the post, Twene Jonas described the police as his 'boys' and added that it is only when the power of love overcomes the love of power that the world would know peace.

Meanwhile, the National Security Ministry has stated that it has begun investigations into allegations made by Citi News' journalist, Caleb Kudah, that he was assaulted by some National Security operatives.

In response to the arrest of Caleb Kudah and Zoe Abu-Baidoo, the ministry promised to take appropriate steps if the allegations are found to be true.

The Ministry’s statement however failed to make mention of the raid at Citi FM that has been largely condemned.
