Feature: A look at the top 10 Ghanaian songs of 2021 so far

2021 is yet to come to an end and it has been a year that has been so good to some music stars.

Many hit songs have been released during the year as some stars are really having a good time.

The likes of Gyakie have been dominating the headlines all because of her viral song.

Not only Gyakie, other artists like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kwame Yogot were also on the list.

YEN.com.gh has thus put together the 10 chart toping Ghanaian songs of 2021.

1. Gyakie's Forever:

Gyakie is currently one of the budding female talents in the country. Her Forever song has earned her international recognision.

Gyakie is an undergraduate student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She is studying International business. Gyakie is the daughter of highlife great, Nana Acheampong.

In January 2021, Shatta Wale released another hit single titled Hajia Bintu.

The song is all about TikTok star, Haji Bintu and it is one of the most played songs in the country.

3. Kwame Yogot's Biibi Besi ft. Kuami Eugene:

In February 2021, Kwame Yogot teamed up with Kuami Eugene to release one of the most viral songs of the year.

It is a great song which has a mixture of hiplife and hip-pop.

4. KiDi's Spiritual ft. Kuami Eugene and Patoranking:

The Lynx Entertainment signee, KiDi, went spiritual in one of his singles in 2021.

KiDi's Spiritual is one of the most played songs in the country at the moment.

The song has his label mate, Kuami Eugene, and Nigerian superstar, Patoranking.

5. Dollar on You by Kuami Eugene:

Kuami Eugene has never looked back since making his debut in the music industry five years ago.

He has been on top of his game and now has a new banger.

6. Mood by Mr Drew:

Mr. Drew has carved a niche for himself as he has been combining singing and dancing.

He has released another danceable tune and the said song has been trending on social media.

7. Stonebwoy's We Move:

As expected of the Bhim Nation president, Stonebwoy never disappoints.

The Ashaiman-born singer has released another single titled We Move.

The song is like a freestyle and it has really been making waves.

8. Kwesi Arthur's Baajo ft. Joeyboy:

Kwesi Arthur is arguably one of the best talents in Ghana at the moment.

All the songs he has released are hits and Baajo is no exception.

9. Na Today by Okesse:

The young rapper, who is gradually making a mark in the music industry has proven his lyrical prowess with his new single.

Okese's Na Today song talks about taking chances in life and the track is like an anthem for some hardworking young Ghanaians.

10. Yeeko by Okyeame Kwame ft. Kuami Eugene:

The veteran rapper has not given up yet when it comes to music.

Once again, he has proven why he is one of the best rappers Ghana has ever produced.

His new song featuring Kuami Eugene is a hit and no wonder it has received airplay since its release.
