A headteacher, Yaw Eyifa Gorman, has been shot and killed by unknown gunmen in his home at Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Yaw Eyifa Gorman, popularly known as Dr Sting, was shot in his car after he returned home from a census training on Saturday evening.

YEN.com.gh gathered that the incident happened at about 7:40 pm on Saturday, May 22, in the compound of his own home.

One co-tenant told Joy News that they heard the sound of the gun and rushed out to figure out what it was only to find Gorman shot dead.

''We were all in our room and we heard a loud noise. Some of us thought it was a knockout.

''Then we heard his wife screaming ... 'Please someone should come and help me!' So when we did.''

The Central Region Police Command has launched investigations into the incident.

In other news, popular media personality, Dr Pounds, and his beautiful fiancée have tied the knot at a traditional wedding at Cape Coast in the Central Region.

The beautiful ceremony graced by several Ghanaian celebrities came off on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Actor Prince David Osei, Kalybos, Bismark The Joke, Kuami Eugene, and Kofi Kinaata who doubled as Dr Pounds' best man attended the traditional wedding.
