However, according to the singer, his infant daughter, Lyra Antarctica, is not a fan of his music as he would have hoped.
In an interview on BBC Radio 1, the singer said his Lrya is not his number one fan, and when he plays his music, she just cries.
"Now I'll sing to my daughter, who's not my biggest fan. She just cries," he said.
However, there is a song that she likes, and that is Shape Of You, which he says she might love for the marimba sound. But any other song that appears loud, she is not interested.
Considering her young age, Ed will hope that her young one would finally become her number one fan in the future.
Birth of Lyra
The 30-year-old singer and his wife Cherry Seaborn welcomed their baby girl in late August but stayed silent until early September when they announced her birth.
In a long post seen by TUKO.co.ke, excited Sheeran disclosed he and his wife were over the moon.
''Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you... Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter - Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here," he wrote.
He thanked the team that helped his wife deliver and noted that they now needed privacy and that fans should humbly accord them.
The singer got an ambitious tattoo with five slots which were to be filled by his future offsprings, and one slot is now taken.
The Olympic rings tattoo will be filled with every child's palm print.
