The younger brother of the late TikToker Osanju Frimpong Elvis, popularly known as Osanju, has broken his silence on his sudden demise on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The Ghanaian TikTok community was sent into a state of mourning after rumours emerged that their colleague had passed away.

Osanju, who was last seen in a TikTok video reacting to his favourite club, FC Barcelona's draw against Rayo Vallecano, died after being rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the social media personality had complained about a severe headache late in the night, before he was taken to the hospital.

He passed away months after he held a burial for his late mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, in January 2025.

Osanju's brother speaks about his demise

In an interview with popular Kumasi-based blogger Nana Baffour, Osanju's little brother detailed the events that transpired before the TikToker's demise.

The young man shared that his late brother had watched FC Barcelona's football match and held a live TikTok session on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

According to him, Osanju complained about his headache and bid farewell to his landlord before entering his room to sleep.

He noted that the landlord found the TikToker lying on the floor when he slumped after waking up and rushing to his room at 2 am.

Osanju's brother added that the landlord later contacted some individuals who took him to the hospital, where he tragically passed away.

Following Osanju's unfortunate demise, footage from his residence in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has emerged on social media.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, the elder sister of the late content creator, who wore an all-black outfit, broke down in tears as she mourned the demise of her brother at their home.

Osanju's uncle was also inconsolable and distraught as he shouted out his deceased nephew's name while sitting in the chair.

Akonoba weeps on livestream after Osanju's demise

Akonoba broke down in tears on a livestream after the news of his close friend, Osanju's demise surfaced on social media on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The TikToker and other colleagues were on a livestream discussing Osanju’s passing when he lost his composure.

Akonoba later sang a sorrowful song to mourn his brother as he spoke about their final moments together.
