Upon arrival, Nana Akufo-Addo acknowledged the family and offered a generous donation of GH¢100,000 to assist them as they navigated this challenging period.

Other notable contributions included GH¢50,000 from former Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia, GH¢30,000 from the Ghana Police Service, and GH¢10,000 from Kennedy Agyapong, and GH¢5,000 each from Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Alan Kyerematen.

In a striking moment captured during the observance, Denise Fosu, the eldest daughter of Daddy Lumba, was photographed seated and seemingly at ease despite the sombre occasion, as she welcomed Akufo-Addo.

Looking graceful and without makeup, her serene demeanour contrasted with the weight of the event. The former president displayed a gesture of fatherly affection by gently touching her cheeks, offering comfort amidst their shared grief.

Furthermore, her oversized black sunglasses, priced at GH¢90, served a dual purpose; not only did they add a fashionable touch to her outfit, but they also discreetly concealed her tear-filled eyes from the public gaze, allowing her a moment of privacy amidst her sorrow.
