Ghanaian online personality Afia Schwarzenegger has sparked worry after calling for prayers for jailed televangelist, Nana Agradaa.

Nana Agradaa, born Patricia Asiedua, was jailed for fifteen years by an Accra Circuit Court on July 3, 2025.
She was sentenced after being convicted of defrauding some Ghanaians who attended a church service in 2022.
Afia Schwarzenegger seeks prayers for Nana Agradaa
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of Sarah Breed Love, controversial comedian and social media content creator Afia Schwarzenegger called for prayers for Nana Agradaa.
Speaking in sombre tones, she said the jailed preacher needed urgent intercessory prayers, although she did not specify why.
“When you are praying, pray for Mama Pat. Please pray for her. I know there are people out there who genuinely love her like I do. Please remember her in your prayers,” she said.
The US-based comedienne’s words sparked alarm amongst fans of the preacher, with many wondering what condition she was in to have triggered Afia Schwarzenegger’s plea.

Nana Agradaa’s husband describes suffering in jail
Afia Schwarzenegger’s alarming plea came after Nana Agradaa’s husband, Angel Asiamah, also opened up on his wife’s condition in jail.
Addressing the Heaven Way Champion’s congregation on Sunday, September 14, Asiamah said he visited his wife in Nsawam Prison and found her to be suffering due to her incarceration.

He added that Nana Agradaa said she remained hopeful and charged him to inform their church members to also not be discouraged, no matter their challenges.

Nana Agradaa reportedly warns debtors from jail
Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Nana Agradaa warned people owing her to pay up.
In a viral video, a woman identified as Nana Agradaa's sister claimed that she received a list of debtors from the preacher during a recent visit to Nsawam prison.
Online reactions to the claims were mixed, with many questioning what would happen to people Agradaa had allegedly owed or defrauded.
