The ex-wife of the late Ghanaian inventor and religious leader, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has mourned him, days after his demise at 113.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the ex-wife of the late Kristo Asafo Mission leader was seen arriving at his plush residence in Accra with fashionista Osebo the Zaraman and an entourage.
The elderly lady, in an all-black funeral cloth, broke down in tears as she arrived at the premises of her late husband, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka's house, to sympathise with his family.

Despite several attempts from Osebo the Zaraman to console her, the late religious leader's ex-wife continued to shed tears.
Her emotional outburst moved many people, including the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka's daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, who stood from her chair to hug and console her as she grieved.
She later hugged and offered words of sympathy to other family members of the late Kristo Asafo Mission leader, who had gathered at the residence to mourn their loss.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka's demise and aftermath
Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka sadly passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2025. His daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, announced the news of his demise to the public in a statement.
She quoted a Bible scripture to indicate that they had been comforted even though they were in a state of mourning.
Following his demise, numerous high-profile personalities, including Sarkodie, Nana Akufo-Addo, Lil Win, Osebo the Zaraman and others, mourned with emotional tributes on social media.

In a video, the former MP for Dome-Kwabenya spread her arms around her kin as she wept uncontrollably. Another lady knelt before the former Gender Minister and tried to comfort her.
Adwoa Safo's sister was later captured, placing her head on the renowned politician's shoulder as she also cried uncontrollably.
Her brother, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Jnr was spotted performing the kete dance for mourners as he looked visibly emotional in videos that have surfaced on social media.

Ex-Kristo Asafo member speaks after Kantanka's demise
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that an alleged ex-Kristo Asafo member spoke after Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka passed away.
In a video, Anita Acheampong offered consoling words to the family and loved ones of the late religious leader.
She also made some allegations in relation to the activities of the Kristo Asafo Mission church during her time as a member.
