She did her GCE A' Level in 1998 and proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon, to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. The Ghanaian lawyer graduated in 2002 and, after two years, did her Master of Laws (LLM) degree from George Washington University in the United States.
