Breaking the news to their young kids

With their children, Ellis, seven, and Winnie, three, to consider, Jenny and Kyle faced the difficult task of explaining the situation to their young ones.

The seven-year-old purportedly told his parents that he was hoping he was having a bad dream.

“‘It takes a lot of courage to be honest with them because it’s a scary thing to say but this is the route we took and I’m glad we did it,” Kyle said, defending his and Jenny’s parenting decision.

Throughout their ordeal, the couple chose to share their journey on YouTube, vlogging Jenny's battle with cancer and providing updates for their channel's 105,000 subscribers.
