Away from international football, Partey’s rescheduled court date falls just a day before Villarreal’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League on September 16.

That fixture will be his first appearance back in England since the case began, and given his past with Spurs’ bitter rivals Arsenal, the reception is unlikely to be friendly.

Before that, however, Partey will aim to help Villarreal maintain their unbeaten start to the 2025/26 La Liga season.

According to Flashscore, the Yellow Submarine face a tricky test on September 13 against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid, who are yet to record a win in their opening three matches, at the Metropolitano Stadium.

According to GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum, the midfielder will be fully available for selection, offering strong assurance ahead of Ghana’s crucial fixtures against Chad and Mali.
