Ghanaian winger Mohammed Kudus has hit the ground running in the new English Premier League season, much to Tottenham Hotspur’s delight.

He played a pivotal role in Spurs' comeback against Brighton & Hove Albion on September 20, 2025, coming from 2-0 down to secure a vital two points.

Signed for £55 million, Kudus is quickly establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s standout summer acquisitions, outperforming even the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal in his early displays, according to StatMuse.

Moreover, this season, Mohammed Kudus leads all players in Europe’s top five leagues for successful take-ons, showcasing his remarkable dribbling ability, which was on full display against Brighton at the AMEX Stadium last Saturday.

Speaking to YEN.com.gh in an exclusive interview, Dodji praised Kudus’ skill, pace, and ability to influence games, stating that the Ghanaian international has all the tools to succeed at the highest level.

“He is showing what Ghanaian players are capable of in Europe, and Spurs are lucky to have him. I have personally followed Mo since his days at Nordjaelland in Denmark to his time at Ajax and West Ham. One thing I like about him is his tough mentality.''

Meanwhile, West Ham United’s decision to sell Kudus has come under heavy criticism, especially as the 24-year-old continues to shine in North London.

Starting every game so far this season, the ex-Ajax man has earned the full trust of Spurs’ management, with manager Thomas Frank showing confidence in the Ghanaian international’s abilities.
