The winger’s record-breaking move eclipses Nicolas Pépé’s $92 million transfer from Lille to Arsenal in 2019 and Victor Osimhen’s $91 million switch from Lille to Napoli.

The teenager enjoyed a breakthrough 2025/26 campaign, winning the Bundesliga Young Player of the Season award after registering 12 goals and eight assists. He also featured in all four of Ivory Coast’s matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Diomande sits comfortably at the summit, with his $144 million move leaving him well clear of Pépé, who ranks second following his switch from Lille to Arsenal in 2019.

Osimhen features twice on the list after his transfers to Napoli and Galatasaray, while Omar Marmoush and Bryan Mbeumo share the $87 million mark.

Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025, while Mbeumo made the move from Brentford to Manchester United last season.

Ghana also has two representatives among the biggest deals, with Antoine Semenyo’s $83 million transfer from Bournemouth to Manchester City placing him seventh.

Achraf Hakimi and Riyad Mahrez occupy the next two spots, with both players commanding $78 million fees for their respective moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
