The University of Ghana does not only offer learning at the classroom but it has an integrated system where you can learn at the comfort of your home if you are not able to get to class. This program is actually more suitable for people from outside countries who prefer to study at the university of Ghana and are not able to because of the long distance. The University came up with this programme to benefit everyone who chooses University of Ghana as their school of choice. This university offers diverse curriculums that enhance the career of every student.

Distance learning involves face to face interaction so one should have a laptop in order to receive the learning materials. Details are provided at the SAKAI learning management system. Students are trained in order to understand how the system works.

Procedure for registration

Print the admission letter

Log in into the university of Ghana website with the admission number. You will then download an admission letter from there.

Payment of fees

All students should pay their fees at any GCB bank branch. Student should quote their full names, level of study and registration numbers. Keep all the receipts safely as you may need them for future use.

Online registration

Make sure to register online within 48 hours after fees payment. The procedure is displayed at the schools website.

Collection of course materials

All students should register at the specific university learning centre and collect the course materials, with their valid identification number. University of Ghana distance learning centres are located at; Accra, Bolgatanga, Cape-coast, Koforidua and Kumasi.

Business courses are not yet integrated into the distance learning, but one can choose to attend the classes before business is integrated. With the growth of the school, more courses will be included into distance learning.
