Shatta Wale's 'Reign' album drops from Billboard Charts

Self-proclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale has failed to maintain his position at the Billboard Charts just after one week.

Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ album which has 17 tracks debuted in the Billboard Charts at number 6 just two-weeks after it was released.

However, news reaching YEN.com.gh indicate that, the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker’s album has dropped from the charts this week.

The reason behind Shatta Wale's failure to maintain his position was because of drop in sales

In his first week of release, Shatta Wale dominated iTunes’ World Albums chart, Albums (Ghana) chart, Top 100 (Ghana) chart and had an essential created for him by Apple Music.

The launching of the ‘Reign’ which was held at the Fantasy Dome, Accra Trade Fair Center attracted over 20,000 fans.

Chinese singer Yixing Zhang (LAY) of Exo boy group is currently dominating the World Albums chart with his latest album “NAMANANA: 03”.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale was recently in the news after revealing that rapper Sarkodie begged him to help him.

He was also on record to have said that Sarkodie is a rapper but he behaves like a medical doctor.

The controversial singer in one of his interviews also revealed that his wedding with his baby mama, Michy will come off in 2019.
