Nana Ama Mcbrown preaches against child abuse in latest video

Beautiful and eloquent actress Nana Ama McBrown has been in the news recently following wild reports that she is heavily pregnant, according to a video.

Though the actress has not denied or confirmed the report, YEN.com.gh has sighted another video of her not displaying what looks like a pregnancy, but rather education parents on how to raise their children.

In the video, Nana Ama observed that the commonest way many parents correct their children is by beating them up, or spanking them when they do something wrong.

However, that is not the way to go because it amounts to child abuse, the beautiful actress said.

Narrating a scene she witnessed herself, Nana Ama said she saw a mother crossing the road with her young child whose hand she was not holding.

The mother, according to the actress, later beat the child when she saw that the child was not walking at the pace she wanted.

It was not the child’s fault. As a mother, everything about the child is in your hands, I was sad the way she beat the child and I believe sad abuse is still happening and it must end,” Nana Ama said in Akan language.

She said that as children as they are, young ones do not know their left from their right, therefore, it is the duty of the parents to ensure that they are helped to do the right thing.

Nana Ama added that she was speaking as a Ghanaian Against Child Abuse (GACA).

She further advised the parents to be patient with their children, and know that it is not only through beating that they can be raised up.

I will plead with the parents to talk to the children, not just beating them in a way to correct them,” Nana Ama McBrown said.
