Female NDC MP allegedly leaked Ofosu Ampofo’s tape to Oman FM journalist

- An Oman FM journalist reportedly handed over the Ofosu Ampofo tape to MP, Kennedy Agyapong, investigations have revealed

- The tape was allegedly given to the journalist by a female MP, who is yet to be identified

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that a female Member of Parliament (MP) is behind the leaked tape involving National Democratic Congress (NDC) chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ofosu Ampofo honoured an invitation from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) with regard to the tape, which allegedly captured comments from him.

He is reported to have called on supporters of the party of constantly lambast some prominent Ghanaians.

He also confessed that pro-NDC vigilante groups were present during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.

Even though the identity of the MP is yet to be ascertained, Oman FM journalist, Gordon Asare Bediako, stated that he handed over the tape to his boss, Kennedy Agyapong, as soon as he received it from the unknown MP.

The reason behind the decision to hand over the tape to the journalist remains unclear, but Mynewsgh.com reports that the MP is at war with Ofosu Ampofo, hence her action.

The leaked is reported to have caused confusion among members of the top hierarchy of the NDC, as suspicions of moles planted to destabilize the party have grown.
